adequate stay
convenient location direct connection airport connection unfriendly staff dated breakfast limited hot food
the hotel's location was convenient. checkpoint charlie was within walking distance. i also appreciated the direct train connection to the airport (friedrichstrasse station was close).
i found some of the staff to be less than cute. the breakfast room seemed a bit dated. the hot food selection at breakfast was lacking (this was quite disappointing).

vintage design convenient connections unhelpful staff damaged floor
The location offers easy access to the touristy area. A nearby U-Bahn station and bus stop provide convenient connections. The hotel showcases a beautiful, vintage design (it felt quite special). My room was both clean and modern.
The front desk staff did not seem super helpful. Parts of the third floor were blocked off due to some type of damage. The elevators seemed quite worn and in need of attention (a little concerning). The pool was decommissioned and blocked off.

The room was well-appointed, and it had everything i needed. the reception area felt spacious and grand, great for enjoying drinks or coffee. i especially appreciated the recommendations i got for nearby restaurants and bars. It really enhanced my stay.
the curtains in my room didn't block out enough light. it made it hard to sleep longer, even though i wanted to. this is pretty disappointing for a hotel that isn't cheap, though!

Really good Stay with Convenient Amenities
easy access restful sleep low-fat milk perfect pillow
The location offered easy access to the subway station, simplifying travel. The room was quiet, which allowed restful sleep. The hotel had low-fat milk available during breakfast. The hard pillow in the room was perfect for my sleeping preference.
The staff at the hotel entrance were not always cute.

The room included a spacious layout and effective soundproofing. Bedding felt luxurious and enhanced sleep quality (I always appreciate good bedding!). Temperature control worked efficiently and allowed a very comfortable environment.
